Support for 18+

Our Services

SUPPORT FOR 18+ CARE LEAVERS.

As a reliable provider, we assume the responsibility of acting as good guardians to all our residents in care. Our commitment to being good guardians involves ensuring the safety of our residents and providing the highest level of support to recognise and meet each individual's unique needs.

We assist residents in accessing essential services such as housing, education, training, work experience and health services. Beyond this, our support extends to helping them navigate the transition from care, offering advice, encouragement and financial guidance to optimise their journey through the care system.

Semi-indpendent living

Our Services

SEMI-INDEPENDENT LIVING FOR 16-17 YEAR OLDS.

Our semi-independent living services for teenagers are designed to integrate them into the community as responsible citizens. These services facilitate the development of social skills, including seeking employment, maintaining healthy relationships within the community and
pursuing education.

We collaborate with partners who provide individualised care to enhance overall growth and instil confidence for the future. Ensuring the safety and integration of young individuals into the local community, we offer 24/7 on-call support in case of emergencies. Regular in-house inspections are
conducted to maintain housing facilities according to required standards.

Our Services

CONTACT FOR CHILDREN IN CARE.

Contact serves as a bridge connecting the new environment (foster care or placement with connected persons) to the home environment, facilitating a smoother transition for the child. It promotes attachment, maintains a child's sense of identity and provides a link to their past, present and future.

We provide carefully vetted contact staff to chaperone young children to and from the contact centre. Our trained staff also offer written reports for contact, if required.

Parenting should persist beyond the conclusion of relationships.

Over a million young people face complete estrangement from one of their parents following a separation. Unfortunately, this circumstance can lead to behavioural challenges such as antisocial conduct, distress, discontent and a range of both physical and emotional issues.

Our Commitment:

Libra Scales Care is dedicated to facilitating families in rebuilding connections within a secure environment, particularly during times of breakdowns or separations. We provide a team of seasoned contact supervisors proficient in overseeing various contact scenarios, encompassing supervised, supported, community and handover situations.

Supervised Contact Services:

Within our supervised contact services, interactions are meticulously observed and recorded. Comprehensive notes are often submitted to Local Authorities and may be shared with HM Courts. Copies of these recorded notes are provided to both parents, ensuring a transparent, and accurate record of the contact sessions.
