Transitioning out of care can be daunting, as individuals are suddenly faced with newfound independence and responsibilities without the safety net of familial support.
Libra Scales Care is here to fill that void offering a support system to ensure that young adults have access to guidance, resources and emotional support as they navigate the challenges of this new chapter. Providing a sense of belonging and stability, reducing feelings of isolation and increasing the likelihood of successful transition into adulthood.

Support for 18+ Care Leavers
As a reliable provider, we assume the responsibility of acting as good guardians to all our residents in care.
Our commitment to being good guardians involves ensuring the safety of our residents and providing the highest level of support to recognise and meet each individual's unique needs.

Semi-Independent Living for 16-17 Year Olds
This service is tailored for teenagers, focusing on integration into the community as responsible citizens. These services facilitate the development of social skills, including seeking employment, maintaining healthy relationships within the community, and pursuing education.

Contact for Children in Care
Contact serves as a bridge connecting the new environment (foster care or placement with connected persons) to the home environment, facilitating a smoother transition for the child. We provide carefully vetted contact staff to chaperone young children to and from the contact centre.

Mentoring Programs
Our mentoring programs aim to provide young people with mentors to support them on their journey into adulthood. Whether it involves developing skills for employment or setting specific goals, we partner young individuals with trained mentors to maximise their chances of success in their chosen careers.
